MENINGKATKAN BERFIKIR KRITIS SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN DEP LEARNING DI SMA NEGERI 1 GAPURA

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the application of the Deep Learning method to eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Gapura. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. This study was conducted in two cycles with 28 students as subjects. Data collection techniques used tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Deep Learning method improved students' critical thinking skills. This was evident in the increase in students' average grades from 61.25 in the pre-cycle to 72.10 in the first cycle and 83.45 in the second cycle. The percentage of learning completion also increased from 32% in the pre-cycle to 64% in the first cycle and 82% in the second cycle. Furthermore, student activeness and participation in the learning process also increased. Thus, the Deep Learning method is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.
