STRATEGI PENCEGAHAN DAN PENANGANAN PERUNDUNGAN (BULLYING)DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH

Abstract

Bullying is a serious issue in schools that negatively affects students’ mental health, academic performance, and social development. This article aims to identify the causes of bullying and propose effective prevention and handling strategies in school environments. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature review and field observations in several secondary schools. The results show that bullying arises from a lack of supervision, hidden violent culture, and low social empathy. The proposed strategies include anti-bullying education, teacher training, parental involvement, and the formation of school task forces. These strategies are expected to create a safe, comfortable, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
