INOVASI AUDIO PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS SUNO AI UNTUK MEMBANGKITKAN MINAT BELAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS SISWA KELAS II DI SDN SUTOJAYAN 3 BLITAR

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of using Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based song media through the SUNO AI application in increasing interest in learning English, especially in Numbers 11-20 for second-grade students at SDN Sutojayan 3 Blitar. The background of this study is based on the low interest in learning and the lack of variety of learning media that causes student engagement in lower grades to be suboptimal. Using a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental design this study involved 15 students as a total sample. Data were collected through a learning interest questionnaire, behavioral observation, and in-depth interviews to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed a significant increase in the average score of learning interest, from 65.20 in the pre-test stage to 85.53 in the post-test stage. The Paired Sample T-Test test produced a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which proves that the SUNO AI song media intervention has a real effect on the interest variable. Furthermore, the N-Gain Score calculation of 0.58 places the effectiveness of this media in the Medium category, indicating a successful transformation of learning interest from a sufficient to a good level. Qualitative findings confirm a drastic increase in students' attention, active participation, and enjoyment during the learning process. Overall, the integration of generative AI technology in the form of custom songs has proven to be an innovative solution that is practical, efficient, and relevant to the characteristics of elementary school students in the digital age.
