This study examines educational institution development strategies and leadership challenges in addressing the dynamics of global change in the 2020–2026 period. The discussion focuses on vision- and mission-based strategic planning, teacher competency enhancement, and learning innovation through the use of digital technology. Furthermore, this study highlights various leadership barriers, such as changes in education policy, limited resources, and resistance to reform. The research was conducted through a literature review of relevant international journals from the time period. The results of the study show that the success of developing educational institutions is highly dependent on leadership that is responsive to change, capable of building collaboration, and encouraging continuous innovation in the education system.
