IMPLEMENTASI METODE MEMBACA NYARING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI ERA LITERASI DIGITAL PADA SISWA SD

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the read-aloud method in Indonesian language learning in the digital literacy era among third-grade students at SDN Cikaret. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 15 third-grade students and one classroom teacher. Data collection techniques included participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which comprises data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that: (1) the read-aloud method is implemented through three stages: pre-reading, read-aloud, and post-reading; (2) the read-aloud method has been proven to improve reading interest, pronunciation skills, and student confidence; (3) the integration of digital media such as read-aloud videos and interactive reading applications strengthens the effectiveness of this method. This study concludes that the read-aloud method integrated with digital technology is relevant and effective in the digital literacy era for enhancing elementary school students' literacy skills.
