PENGALAMAN GURU DAN SISWA KELAS 3 SD AL-MUJTAHIDIN DALAM MENERAPKAN METODE CERAMAH INTERAKTIF PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

Abstract

This study explores the experiences of teachers and third-grade students at SD Al-Mujtahidin in applying the interactive lecture method in Indonesian language learning. The background of this research is the gap between the theoretical advantages of the interactive lecture method and its actual implementation in the classroom, particularly the challenges teachers face in managing classroom interaction and student passivity. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with two teachers and three students. Results show that teachers planned lessons by adapting teaching modules, opened sessions with educational games or material review, and managed participation through appreciation and trigger questions. Students responded positively, reporting increased confidence in speaking and improved content comprehension, though they experienced anxiety about answering incorrectly in front of peers. Main constraints included time limitations, preparation demands, and managing passive students. It is concluded that the interactive lecture method effectively promotes active participation in Indonesian language learning at the elementary level.
