Dampak Keterbatasan Ruang dan Minimnya Interaksi Sosial terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Anak

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of managing the learning environment and how children interact with others in increasing the enthusiasm for learning in early childhood. Based on observations at Rahmat Kembang Kuning Kindergarten Surabaya in classes A1 and A2, each class has 2 teachers and TK A1 consists of 29 children and TK A2 consists of 30 children, which shows a cheerful and diverse learning atmosphere. The existing classroom layout already supports the learning process, although there is still the possibility of improvement to allow children more freedom to explore. Interactions between teachers and children run smoothly in the learning process, where teachers make various efforts to guide and direct children during the activities. This study aims to see how limited space and social interactions affect the level of children's activeness in learning. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The study shows that the learning environment and how to interact with others are very helpful in increasing children's participation in learning. Therefore, it is necessary to continue to carry out optimal space arrangements and improve the quality of interactions in learning so that the learning process becomes more effective and enjoyable for children.
