Writing skills are the ability to convey ideas and information clearly and effectively in written form. One of the important writing skills that must be mastered by elementary school students is narrative writing, which describes a sequence of events so that readers can understand the storyline presented. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model assisted by serial image media on the narrative writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDK Santo Yoseph 3 Kupang City. This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 28 fifth-grade students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through narrative writing tests administered before and after the implementation of the TTW learning model assisted by serial image media. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, with significance values of 0.490 for the pretest and 0.541 for the posttest in the normality test, and 0.323 in the homogeneity test, all greater than the significance level of 0.05. Furthermore, the paired sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the TTW learning model assisted by serial image media significantly improves students’ narrative writing skills.
