IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM SABTU EKSPRESI DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KREATIVITAS DAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA DI SDN KOLOR II

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Saturday Expression program in developing students' creativity and self-confidence at SDN Kolor II. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The subjects of the study were students and teachers involved in the Saturday Expression activity during the Field Experience Practice (PPL). Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the Saturday Expression program is implemented routinely and structured through various activities such as art performances, literacy, and other creative activities. This program is able to increase student creativity as demonstrated through the ability to improvise, create new ideas, and express themselves in a variety of ways. In addition, students' self-confidence also experienced a significant increase through the experience of performing in public. This program also contributes to strengthening students' character such as discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. Thus, the Saturday Expression program is an effective activity in supporting the holistic development of students' potential, both cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, and can be used as good practice in basic education. This finding aligns with research showing that experiential activities and active participation can significantly increase student creativity.
