MERANGSANG MINAT BELAJAR DENGAN METODE CERAMAH INTERAKTIF PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess how efficient the interactive lecture method is in learning Indonesian in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Jihad class III, in Palangka Raya. Learning Indonesian in elementary schools often encounters problems in the form of students not being involved in learning, especially being enthusiastic in learning and optimizing critical reasoning skills. Teachers have an important function in determining learning methods that are appropriate to the material and characteristics of students. To help students learn the material more easily and in a structured manner, teachers can utilize the interactive lecture method integrated with questions and answers and discussions. In this study, the approach used was a qualitative approach, where interviews and direct observations were conducted during the learning process in class III. The data collected showed that interactive lectures supported students in understanding what was being taught. Questions and answers were used by teachers to survey students' understanding, prove that students were involved, and provide re-explanations if needed. The results of the study showed that the interactive lecture method was able to optimize students' understanding of the learning material. However, to improve students' creativity and critical thinking, the lecture method must be used along with other methods.
