STRATEGI GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MELALUI METODE FUN LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS II MI DARUL MUTA’ALLIMIN CEPOKO

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in implementing the Fun Learning method and teachers’ strategies in increasing students’ learning motivation in Indonesian language learning for Grade II students at MI Darul Muta’allimin Cepoko. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that teachers’ strategies in implementing the Fun Learning method involved ice breaking, contextual question-and-answer activities, the use of simple learning media, and group discussions. These strategies were implemented by considering the characteristics of Grade II students so that learning could take place actively and enjoyably. The implementation of Fun Learning also showed an increase in students’ learning motivation, as indicated by increased attention, enthusiasm, activeness, courage in answering questions, and student involvement during the learning process. Therefore, teachers’ strategies through the implementation of Fun Learning can create an enjoyable learning atmosphere while supporting the development of students’ learning motivation in Indonesian language learning.
