PENGARUH AKTIVITAS MENYANYIKAN LAGU WAJIB NASIONAL MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA POWTOON TERHADAP SIKAP NASIONALISME SISWA KELAS V UPT SPF SD INPRES GALANGAN KAPAL I

Abstract

Globalization brings various changes that impact people's lives, including the decline of nationalism in students. One effort that can be done to instill nationalism values ​​since elementary school is through the activity of singing the national anthem supported by interesting learning media, such as Powtoon. This study aims to determine the effect of the activity of singing the national anthem using Powtoon media on the nationalism attitudes of fifth-grade students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Galangan Kapal I. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research type. The study population was 32 students who were all sampled through a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using an observation sheet to measure the activity of singing the national anthem and a questionnaire to measure students' nationalism attitudes. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics through a simple linear regression test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 24. The results of the study showed that the activity of singing the national anthem using Powtoon media had a significant effect on students' nationalism attitudes. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value smaller than 0.05 so that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. These findings indicate that the activity of singing the national anthem supported by Powtoon media is able to increase student involvement while strengthening nationalistic attitudes through habituation, appreciation of the meaning of the song, and the use of media that is appropriate to the characteristics of elementary school students.
