WORKSHOP PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA SEJARAH BERBASIS IT DI SMK NEGERI 1 PERCUT SEI TUAN

Abstract

The IT-based history learning media development workshop at SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan was conducted to improve teachers' skills in designing and using innovative and effective technology-based learning media. This activity was carried out through training in creating interactive learning media, introducing various educational applications and software, and strategies for implementing information technology in the history learning process. In addition, the workshop also provided a forum for educators to share experiences, discuss challenges in history learning, and explore creative ideas in creating digital media that suit the needs of students at SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The results of the workshop have shown an increase in teachers' skills in utilizing technology to support the teaching and learning process, creativity, and improving the quality of learning carried out. Thus, this activity is expected to be a strategic step in the application of digital technology for vocational secondary education and increase students' interest and understanding of history learning media materials.
