PENGGUNAAN METODE BELAJAR EVERYONE IS TEACHER HERE DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA DI DEPAN UMUM SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Speaking skills are an important aspect of elementary students’ language development because they play a role in social communication, academic achievement, and the formation of self-confidence. However, many students still feel shy, afraid to speak, and passive in learning activities. Therefore, learning methods that encourage active student participation are needed, one of which is the Everyone Is Teacher Here (EITH) method. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the EITH method in improving elementary school students’ speaking skills. The research method used is library research by reviewing various relevant sources such as books, articles, and scientific journals. The data were analyzed descriptively to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of the EITH method. The results show that the EITH method makes a positive contribution to increasing students’ courage, self-confidence, and active participation in the learning process. In addition, this method also influences the development of more structured speaking skills, such as fluency, pronunciation accuracy, and the ability to organize ideas coherently. Thus, the Everyone Is Teacher Here method can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy to develop elementary school students’ speaking skills.
