Abstract

Economic education at the secondary level plays a significant role in shaping society's understanding of basic economic principles. In order to enhance the understanding of economic concepts at this level, innovative and effective teaching approaches are required. This article aims to discuss innovative teaching strategies that can be implemented to improve the understanding of economic concepts at the secondary education level. Various strategies such as project-based learning, cooperative learning, and the use of educational technology will be considered as ways to increase student engagement and support better understanding of economic concepts. Through the application of these innovative teaching strategies, it is hoped that student interest in learning and their ability to apply economic concepts in real-life contexts will be enhanced.
