PENGARUH GAME BASED LERANING BERBASIS EDUCANDY TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V UPT SPF SD NEGERI BAWAKARAENG I

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ collaborative skills in IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) learning, as indicated by unequal participation, lack of effective communication, and the dominance of certain students. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the Educandy-based Game-Based Learning model on the collaborative skills of fifth-grade students in IPAS learning at UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng I. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design (posttest-only). The population consisted of all fifth-grade students, with the sample comprising Class VA as the experimental group (22 students) and Class VB as the control group (15 students), selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation sheets and performance assessments (posttest). Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically the independent samples t-test. The results showed that the average collaborative skills of students in the experimental class were in the high category, while those in the control class were in the moderate category. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that the significance value was below the predetermined significance level, meaning that there was a statistically significant effect. In conclusion, the Educandy-based Game-Based Learning model has a significant effect on students’ collaborative skills in fifth-grade IPAS learning.
