PENGEMBANGAN STRATEGI ASESMEN INOVATIF SEBAGAI UPAYA MENDUKUNG IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN ABAD KE-21

Abstract

21st-century learning demands comprehensive transformation in educational systems, including in the dimension of assessment. This article aims to examine and develop innovative assessment strategies aligned with 21st-century competency demands, particularly in the context of Indonesian Language learning. The method used is library research by analyzing various relevant scientific sources. The findings indicate that innovative assessment includes authentic assessment, project-based assessment, digital portfolios, technology-based formative assessment, and performance assessment. These strategies are proven capable of measuring critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication competencies (4C), which form the foundation of 21st-century learning. Implementation of innovative assessment requires teacher readiness in pedagogical, technological, and administrative aspects. This article recommends the continuous integration of innovative assessment as part of national curriculum reform.
