The phenomenon of incomplete families has increasingly become a social problem that significantly impacts the psychological development of elementary school children. This study aims to analyze the psychological development of elementary school children from incomplete families through a literature review. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a systematic literature review design, analyzing scientific journals, articles, and relevant research results published from 2015 to 2025. The data analysis technique employs qualitative content analysis with source triangulation to maintain data validity. The research findings indicate that 63% of children from incomplete families experience high psychological impacts on cognitive, emotional, and social aspects. Empirical data from the SDN Grobogan area reveals that these children experience difficulty concentrating, decreased learning motivation, behavioral changes becoming withdrawn and temperamental, and difficulty socializing with peers. These findings are consistent with Erikson's psychosocial development theory which emphasizes the importance of family roles in forming healthy personalities. Comprehensive interventions from schools, families, and communities are needed to support the optimal development of children from incomplete families.
