LATIHAN ARTIKULASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA &KOMUNIKASI ANAK TUNARUNGU KELAS 1 SD DI SLB NEGERI 1MAKASSAR

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of articulation exercises in improving the language and communication skills of deaf children in grade 1 of elementary school at SLB Negeri 1 Makassar. This study uses a qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The subjects of the study were deaf students in grade 1 of elementary school, who had experienced hearing loss since being born prematurely. The results of the study showed that interventions based
on articulation exercises had a positive impact on children's verbal communication skills. These exercises help clarify word pronunciation and improve children's interaction with their environment. This study emphasizes the importance of early intervention to support the development of language and communication in deaf children.
