Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze three leadership styles—transactional, situational, and servant leadership—in the context of modern organizations. These three leadership styles have distinct characteristics and approaches in influencing the behavior and performance of organizational members. Transactional leadership emphasizes the reciprocal relationship between leaders and subordinates through a system of rewards and sanctions. Situational leadership focuses on the leader’s ability to adapt their leadership style to the conditions and readiness of subordinates. Meanwhile, servant leadership is oriented toward serving the needs of organizational members and individual development. The method used in this study is a literature review examining various relevant scientific sources. The results of the review indicate that these three leadership styles play a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance, work motivation, and interpersonal relationships in the workplace. Therefore, leaders need to understand and combine these three leadership styles appropriately according to the organization’s situation.
