TEORI ANALISIS SWOT

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of SWOT analysis in strategic planning in educational management. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study type through the collection and analysis of various scientific literature sources. The results of the study indicate that SWOT analysis is able to identify internal factors in the form of strengths and weaknesses, as well as external factors in the form of opportunities and threats that affect organizational performance. The internal environmental analysis includes aspects of human resources, finance, infrastructure, and management systems, while the external environment includes economic, social, policy, technology, and competition factors. In the educational context, the principal plays a crucial role as a change leader in formulating, implementing, and evaluating strategies on an ongoing basis. Thus, the application of SWOT analysis can support the improvement of the quality and competitiveness of educational institutions.
