  JEEL (Journal of Elementary Education and Literacy) is a scholarly journal that focuses on research, studies, and practices related to elementary education and literacy.   JEEL: Journal of Elementary Education and Literacy is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes high-quality research articles, conceptual papers, and development studies in the fields of elementary education and literacy education. The journal serves as an international forum for scholars, researchers, teachers, and education practitioners to disseminate innovative ideas, empirical findings, and best practices related to teaching and learning at the elementary level.

  JEEL focuses on studies addressing instructional strategies, curriculum development, assessment and evaluation, learning media, and pedagogical innovations in elementary schools. Particular attention is given to literacy development, including reading, writing, numeracy, digital literacy, scientific literacy, and multiliteracies that support students’ cognitive, social, and character development in the 21st century.

  The journal also welcomes research on the integration of educational technology, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms in elementary education, as well as classroom action research, research and development (R&D), inclusive education, teacher professional development, and school culture that enhance learning quality and equity. Interdisciplinary and context-based studies, both local and global, are strongly encouraged.
