Free association among adolescents is an issue that requires attention because peer relationships and social interactions can influence the development of attitudes and behavior. Limited understanding of healthy relationships may increase adolescents’ vulnerability to negative influences from their social environment. This activity aimed to provide education to students of MTsN Nurul Dzullam, Ciputri Village, regarding the importance of healthy relationships and to increase students’ awareness of the factors, impacts, and preventive efforts related to free association through the community service program of KKN Group 49, UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. A descriptive qualitative method was employed through face-to-face socialization and educational activities. The activity consisted of preparation, material delivery, interactive discussion, observation of participant engagement, and documentation. The materials covered the definition of free association, contributing factors, potential impacts on adolescents, the importance of choosing positive peer environments, and character strengthening in decision-making. The results showed that the activity was conducted in an orderly, conducive, and interactive manner. Students demonstrated enthusiasm during the material presentation and discussion sessions, while teachers also supported the implementation of the activity. This activity can serve as a preventive educational effort to strengthen students’ understanding of healthy relationships. However, long-term changes in knowledge and behavior could not be measured because pre-test and post-test instruments were not administered. Continued education involving schools, families, and social environments is therefore needed to strengthen efforts to prevent free association among adolescents.
