PENGARUH MEDIA DIGITAL EDUCAPLAY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KEAKSARAAN ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN

Abstract

The background of this research is in accordance with the facts in the field stating that there are still many literacy skills in recognizing alphabetic letters in children aged 4-5 years who are not fully familiar, mentioning the letters of the alphabet and knowing the syllables as a whole, this study aims to find out letters to literacy ability in children aged 4-5 years at Aisyiyah 18 Surabaya Kindergarten. This study uses a quantitative research method with an experimental type of research using a one group pre-test post-test design. The sample of this study amounted to 21 children as subjects. Data analysis used with descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study used by the study stated that from the calculation of the results of the descriptive analysis, the average pre-test score was 5.24% and the post-test average score was 11.76%. Data analysis using normality test, Wilcoxon test, and N Gain test. The gain score obtained was 0.689 in the effective percentage category. So the HO was rejected H1 was accepted, which means that there is an influence  of digital media educaplay on literacy skills in children aged 4-5 years at Aisyiyah 18 Surabaya Kindergarten.From the results of the data, it can be concluded that there is an effect  of the use of digital educaplay  media on literacy skills in children aged 4-5 years at Aisyiyah 18 Surabaya Kindergarten effectively. With  this digital media educaplay, children can understand the material and easily focus on understanding the material, learning literacy in recognizing the letters of abajd and recognizing syllables easily. The conclusion of the researcher suggests that in the learning process, of course, the role of learning media is very important to support the learning process, therefore the media provided to children must also be more creative and innovative so that learning feels fun and children can stimulate maximally.
