FAKTOR PENYEBAB RENDAHNYA HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Low mathematics learning outcomes among elementary school students were identified as a significant issue affecting educational quality. This study aimed to examine the factors contributing to this problem. A literature review method was employed by analyzing relevant scientific sources. The findings showed that the causes were influenced by internal factors such as low interest, motivation, and basic abilities of students, as well as external factors including less varied teaching methods, limited parental support, and inadequate learning facilities. In addition, students’ perception of mathematics as a difficult subject further contributes to the issue. Based on these findings, it is concluded that improving mathematics learning outcomes requires collaborative efforts through innovative teaching strategies and support from teachers, parents, and the school environment.
