PENERAPAN VIDEO EDUKASI UNTUK MEREDUKSI PERILAKU BULLY DI MA MIFTAHUL ULUM

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of educational videos in reducing bullying behavior at MA Miftahul Ulum. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects include students, guidance and counseling teachers, and subject teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.

            The results indicate that bullying behavior still occurs and is dominated by verbal and social forms, such as mocking, labeling, and social exclusion. The low level of students’ understanding is one of the main factors contributing to this behavior. After the implementation of educational videos, there was an improvement in students’ understanding, awareness, and empathy toward the impacts of bullying. Students began to realize that behaviors previously considered as jokes are forms of bullying and showed willingness to reduce such actions. Therefore, educational videos are proven to be effective media in reducing bullying behavior as they deliver messages in an engaging, concrete, and emotionally impactful way.
