PENGARUH METODE PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) methods have gained attention in recent years as an effective approach in improving understanding of mathematical concepts in elementary schools. This article aims to test the effectiveness of problem-based learning methods in improving understanding of mathematical concepts in elementary schools. This research uses a mixed approach, combining quantitative analysis through pre-test and post-test scores and qualitative analysis through observations and interviews. The research sample consisted of elementary school students from various levels. Findings show that problem-based learning methods significantly improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts, leading to improved academic performance and increased engagement in mathematics learning.
