Abstract

Change is an inevitable phenomenon in both individual and organizational life. Organizations are required to continuously adapt to internal and external dynamics in order to remain relevant and achieve their goals effectively. This study aims to analyze the basic concepts of change management, the factors driving organizational change, as well as the stages and obstacles in its implementation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature study. The results indicate that change management is a systematic and planned process that involves human, structural, and cultural aspects within an organization. Factors influencing change consist of internal factors such as leadership, human resources, and organizational culture, as well as external factors such as technological developments, globalization, and government policies. Furthermore, the stages of change management include identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while common obstacles include resistance to change, ineffective communication, lack of leadership support, and limited resources. Therefore, effective change management is essential to ensure organizational sustainability and performance improvement.
