ANALISIS KOMPREHENSIF BERBASIS KAJIAN PUSTAKA TERHADAP IMPLEMENTASI TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including Islamic education. This article aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation of information technology in efforts to improve the quality of Islamic education through a library research approach. The method used is a literature study by tracing, collecting, and analyzing relevant sources in the form of books, journal articles, and previous research results discussing the integration of information technology in Islamic educational institutions, including madrasas, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), and Islamic higher education institutions. The results indicate that the implementation of information technology contributes positively to improving the quality of Islamic education, among others through the digitalization of learning processes, the development of digital-based education management systems, increased accessibility of learning resources, and strengthened institutional governance that is more transparent and accountable. Nevertheless, this implementation still faces several challenges, such as limited infrastructure, gaps in educators' digital competencies, and the suboptimal integration of Islamic values into learning technology design. This study recommends the need for human resource capacity development strategies, strengthening digitalization policies, and collaboration between Islamic educational institutions and technology providers to realize a quality, adaptive, and competitive Islamic education in the digital era.
