Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Giving Question And Getting Answer Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Birama Seni Musik Siswa Kelas IV SDN 106 Jerrung I Kabupaten Sinjai

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model in arts and music subjects, the ability to understand birama (musical meter), and its effect on the ability to understand birama in arts and music among fourth-grade students at SDN 106 Jerrung I, Sinjai Regency. This research is an experimental study using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group design type. The sample in this study consisted of all fourth-grade students, totaling 30 students, with 15 students in the experimental class and 15 students in the control class. Data were collected using a test of the ability to understand birama and observation sheets, then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the implementation of learning using the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model was in the sufficient category in the first meeting, good in the second meeting, and very good in the third meeting. The inferential analysis using the independent sample t-test obtained a significance value of P = < 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the post-test results, and the experimental class score was also higher than the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that: (1) learning using the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model was implemented very well, (2) the ability to understand birama in arts and music among students improved, and (3) there is a significant effect of using the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model on the ability to understand birama in arts and music among fourth-grade students at SDN 106 Jerrung I, Sinjai Regency.
