SISTEM KLASIFIKASI KELAYAKAN INVESTASI PERTANIAN MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA NAÏVE BAYES (STUDI KASUS : KOTA TOMOHON)

Abstract

Investment in the agricultural sector plays a crucial role in increasing production and community welfare, especially in areas dependent on agriculture like Tomohon City. However, determining whether an investment is feasible is often based solely on estimates. Therefore, a system is needed that can provide clearer and more measurable assessments. This study developed a classification system to assess the feasibility of agricultural investments using existing data. The system uses the Naive Bayes method to process variables such as land area, investment value, production yield, and location. The application was developed as a web-based application for ease of use. Test results showed the system was able to provide recommendations on investment categories, whether feasible or not, based on calculated probabilities for each variable. This system is expected to assist relevant parties in making more objective and consistent decisions.
